Cats

Dove (dilluted calico) and Aurora (gray tabby) got me through writing my thesis. They happily reside in Philadelphia with friends.

Shayera (tortie) was a beautiful demon. I got her from a shelter while I was in grad school, and she died a few years later, after a fierce battle with breast cancer.

Chloe (black calico) and Fluffy (grey and white) were my childhood cats. I got Fluffy when I was 4, and she lived to be 21 years old. Chloe died when she was only 8, due to stomach cancer.
